Preparing for the Next Day

We all have a tendency to carry on the problems of the passing day even if we are in bed. It is crucial for the restoration of our whole system to be able to close the day in order to wake up next morning with an open mind, ready to face the world again.
Very often relaxation is mistaken with loosing control. Therefore some people find it difficult to release mental and physical tension. Massage techniques can help, but they have to be combined with mental effort to relax and open up.

  1. Sit in bed or sofa in upward position with a pillow behind your back
  2. Bend your head slightly and place all fingers (excluding thumbs) of both hands along middle line of your scalp. Little fingers should touch the hair line, just in the middle of the forehead
  3. Close your eyes, breath in and press gently into the middle line of your scalp with all fingers
  4. With out breath, start to make 3 slow outer circles
  5. With in breath change position of your fingers along the middle line, so your little fingers should be where the index fingers were before
  6. With out breath make another 3 outer circles
  7. Change position again and repeat the whole procedure until you reach the base of the scalp
