Introduction to Massage course

Learn the basic techniques of massage that you can use every day. Become more aware of touch and more confident in basic massage skills. We will teach you how to release tension when your partner is stressed or when your kids are having trouble sleeping. Even with 10 minutes of massage, you make a difference. Sometimes it's better to touch than to talk; it's basic, simple and very powerful.

The course consists of 3 hours of fully-dressed, hands-on learning with a small group of people. Breathing exercises for tension release plus calming massage techniques for your back, arms, hands, feet, neck, head and face.

Bring yourself comfortably dressed and please wear a round-neck T-shirt. The techniques are simple and with hands-on learning you are more likely to remember everything. You will also receive a guidebook and massage oil to practice at home

The course is held on Sundays at Pure Massage Fulham from 6.30 to 9.30pm.

Price: £80 per person

Course dates and booking

the next courses are on July 20 and August 24. For booking call 0207 381 8100.

Baby course FAQ

What if I have to feed my baby?
The course is designed this way that you can still participate in the class. The material is always revised and the techniques are repeated several times

What if my baby sleeps during the course?
Not to worry, we will provide you with a special doll so you can practice while your baby is sleeping.

My baby has special needs, can I join the course?
You and your baby are very welcome. We will help you to design a massage and find out together what is suitable for your baby. We will follow your needs and adjust the massage to each situation.

What if my baby cries during massage?
Massage helps to release stress out of the body therefore babies CAN respond to massage by crying. Welcoming the crying may help the baby to fully complete a stress or emotional release. You can stop massage any time and listen or answer your baby needs

What should I bring?
A blanket or a towel that your baby can recognize, a toy, nappies and bottles if appropriate. And water in the bottles as the baby becomes very thirsty after the massage.
